Dear Sirs,
Registration of business names act. We have duly received your favor of the 17th last, and we thank you for giving us the names of the Partners of your Firm; we shall be glad to know whether we might substitute "Executors" for "Heirs", although we do not know whether this would satisfy the Authorities. There is still a month in which to deal with the matter and we do not know what may transpire in the meantime.
With reference to our letter of the 20th inst., we now beg to hand you copy of the letter we have received from Messrs Coward & Hawksley Sons & Chance giving their considered opinion on the subject.
You will see however, from the enclosed cutting from today's "Times", it was stated in the House of Commons yesterday that a Bill will be introduced at an early date to make the Act apply to limited companies as well as to firms.
We are, dear Sirs, Yours truly,

James Burness & Sons
