Dear Sirs,
Tinplates for Astra Romana
We beg to hand you copies of telegrams exchanged with Bucarest, from which you will see from our wire to them of the 16th that we are shipping by first opportunity 2.000 boxes of tinplates (complete for making tine of course) to Kustendje on the 23rd Inst. They will go by Khedivial Mail s.s. "Saidieh" to Constantinople and thence to Kustendje, and it is estimated the trough journey will take twelve days.
We shall be left with a stock sufficient to last us about a month (from now), but we are quite presuming that some of the shipments of tinplates for Alexandria, of which you advised as on the 26th August, will turn up in the interim.
When we actually ship the tinplates we will wire you.
