Minutes of Meeting held at the Cannon St Hotel on the 20th November 1901 at 4,30 p.m.

Present:

The terms of the Honourable Understanding dated 20th Nov.1901 having been arranged and agreed to, the question of price was then considered.
It was agreed that:
The current prices should remain at 26/- fob. Port-Said as at present existing and 10/- extra for Suez. The Contract Prices for 1902 should be 24/- fob. Port-Said with 10/- extra for Suez, but that they should not be quoted by anybody, or advised to agents at present: Mr Newton Dunn to interview all parties on the 25th as to the date when the price is to be made known.
Mr Clifford Cory proposed and Mr Joseph Savon seconded:
That Mr Newton Dunn be asked to act as Chairman. Upon Mr Dunn's acceptance of the office, the notion was put and carried unanimously.
It was agreed that:
As the German Syndicate is not expected to be ready until April 1st 1902 the parties only who at present hold the Contracts with the members of it should be entitled to make an arrangement with them, which may be necessary until the Syndicate is ready.
It was agreed that in the case of a split contract parties holding same should mutually agree as to rebate if any necessary.
Navies: It was agreed that the Italian Navy should continue as Messrs Wills clients, the Portuguese Navy as Messrs Savons clients, Russian between Messrs Worms & Messrs Lamberts and all other Navies to remain as heretofore.
Bergen Syndicate. It was agreed that Messrs L. Savon & Co were allowed to agree the Bergen Syndicate contract form through Messrs F. C. Strick & Co Ld.
